Two men accused of larceny get bail

Ibrahim Tholley and Foday Senesie both accused of conspiracy and larceny have been released on bail at a magistrate’s court in Freetown. Magistrate Hannah Bonnie admitted them to a Le5, 000,000 bail backed by one surety who should be a Sierra Leonean resident in Freetown with a valid national identification card.

Blyden’s bail restored

Magistrate Hannah Bonnie has restored the bail conditions of former Social Welfare minister Dr. Sylvia Blyden. The bail was withdrawn after the accused was told she failed to adhere to the orders of the court.

Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Professor Aiah Kpakima, has said that lecturers of colleges and universities must embrace digitalization in the delivery of their lectures or quit.

He said there could be no place in the education system for any lecturer who didn’t delivery his lecture notes online.
