Residents of the newly declared touristic site in Southern Sierra Leone Sulima have expressed fears over the devastating effects that this year’s rainy season might pose to their community this time round.
The township of Sulima in Pujehun district is flanked by both the sea and river attracting heavy waves along a fine beach area that attracted President Julius Maada Bio and the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs to identify the place as a touristic site.

His appointment will put to rest the debate of who was the fittest person to take up the Finance portfolio after the then minister Jacob Jusu Saffa was appointed Chief Minister. Saffa had over the past week superintended over the Finance Ministry.

The newly appointed United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, David Reimer, has assured Sierra Leone's Chief Justice Desmond Babatunde Edwards of strengthened cooperation with the judiciary.

The Anti-Corruption Commission has in a press statement announced the indictment of Bo district Health Sister, Gladys Sesay.
The indictment filled on the 29th April 2021 according to the statement was based on Six (6) counts of corruption offences.
She faces three (3) counts of Accepting an Advantage, contrary to Section 28(2) (a) and Three (3) counts of Abuse of Office, contrary to Section 42(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 12 of 2008 as amended by the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2019.
