West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has warned schools against the importation of students not enrolled since the first year of senior secondary schooling, the institution in a press statement has emphasized.
It said that candidates taking the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) should be those who enrolled in the school from SSS 1.

World Hope International on Saturday 18th March hosted over 1,000 children living with disability together with their caregivers at Aberdeen Beach Freetown with the aim of ending stigmatization towards the children.

Graphic new details have emerged from the murder of the 22-year-old IPAM student, Namisa Fatmata Kamara whose remains were found in a shallow grave at the premises of the Bobani-Browns at Sumaila Town on 9 August 2022 after she had gone missing on 1 August.
Namisa’s uncle, Gerald Magba Kargbo told Politico that her body was found without the facial epidermis – the thin outer layer of her skin – and with her eyes gouged out; so she had to be buried with a plastic tied on her face.
