Man stabbed to death in Kono

A 21 year-old man Osman Fengai was reportedly stabbed to death on Tuesday 20th April 2021 in the eastern district of Kono by one Aiah Komba commonly known as Akon apparently after some political disagreement.

Over missing $500k, defense’s no-case submission thrown out

Justice Alhaji Momoh-Jah Stevens has trashed the no-case submission made by the defense counsel on behalf of Randa Skeiky, who is before the High Court for a two counts indictment of Larceny in a Dwelling House and Larceny by Servant contrary to Section 13(a) and 17 (1) (a)  of the Larceny Act, 1916.

SALCAB workers to receive all due benefits

The Chairman of SALCAB  Sorie Fofana in a bid to dispel rumours on social media giving varied accounts of events surrounding SALCAB,  has issued a statement clarifying issues about the institution.

There has been an unbundling process  at the entity  and the release says the 78 workers will continue to receive their salaries for the months of April and May , after which their engagements with SALCAB will be terminated at the end of May 2021.
