Detective Constable Bockarie Mustapha told the High Court in Freetown on Wednesday 13th March 2024 that contrary to what he said, CCTV footage did not portray the 11th accused Kabba Kamara as someone held hostage by the unknown gunmen but he was actively among them.
The witness was responding to questions from state prosecutor, Oladipo Robin-Mason on whether they investigated a claim made by the accused that he was taken hostage by the assailants at Congo Cross while on patrol on 26th November, 2023.

The National Telecommunications Authority (NaTCA) is set to host the West Africa Telecommunications Regulatory Assembly (WATRA) from 19 to 22, March this year. Two small-scale mining companies in Moyamba District have been creating problems for residents in the community, according to the MP in that locality Mustapha Musu Sellu.
Sellu on 12th March 2024 told Parliament that the activities undertaken by F.S Mining and Shunda Ore have been affecting his people. He said F.S. Mining has about eight 40-foot trailers that are plying that route, raising dust which is not good for the people’s health.
