Babadi Kamara shares Cost Accounting Books in Bo

In an effort to support the Human Capital Development drive of President Julius Maada Bio in Sierra Leone, the Chief Executive Officer, Lead Way Trading Company who also doubles as the  Executive Chairman, Bo Rangers Football Club has on the  21st April, 2021 started the distribution of Cost Accounting Books to Schools in Bo district, southern Sierra Leone.

Queen of the Rosary School (QRS), The Bo School, Saint Andrews Secondary School, Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary school Bo and Koyeima Boys Secondary School are among the schools that benefitted from the gesture.

Presenting the items on behalf of Babadi Kamara, Gassimu Mallah director of People's Development Organization said Mr. Kamara was passionate about education and that he was also helping to compliment the government's Free Quality Education. 

He said that Mr. Kamara got the best result in Cost Accountant when he sat to the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) at the Bo School in 2002.

"His record has not been broken by any pupil in Bo School and other Schools in Bo," Gassimu Mallah narrated.

Mallah called on the pupils to make good use of their books, adding that Mr. Babadi Kamara has promised to give a handsome prize to any pupil that will break his record in Cost Accounting. 

He went on to note that the books donated are authored by a Sierra Leonean, Osman Rahman Kamara.

 Receiving the books, Principal of the Bo School, Edward Kpakra thanked Kamara for thinking about his School while Donald Blake, a Cost Accounting teacher of Bo School said that the books came at the right time. 

Blake said they have been using Akiwola series but the book received was very rich and that it will be placed in the school library so that pupils and teachers will sign for them for use.
