It used to be among the hip hop guyz primarily Black Leo, RFM, Noble Squad, Dry Yai. But some female artistes have not only copied the beefing but seem to have perfected it.
The scene was Old Skool and the performers were Star Zero, LuLu against Empress P. It was like a coincidence between L.A.J and LULU who are lovers and when at the time L.A.J and Big Fish were motor-racing on the beach, Lulu and co were at Empress P at Old Skool.
Empress P is a young female artiste who it is said was the best friend of Star Zero's. Star Zero has actually said that she spotted the talent of Empress P and encouraged her not only as a friend but also as a sister. In fact she said she nicknamed her Empress P.
But what led to the beefing was this: It was alleged that Star Zee was not moving on smoothly with Willie J and on New Year’s Day this year, Star Zee sent SMS text messages to close ones, Willie J being one of them. It is also said that when Willie J received her own SMS, she showed it to Empress P who then went to Star Zee and told her that Willie J had boasted that people thought she was not moving on well with Star Zee but that she had received New Year’s message from her.
Empress P was seen as a gossip and thereafter she was allegedly attacked at Old Skool when they went thereto socialize. The beefing has now extended to another young female artiste Jusstice Moneyfinder and it has been taken to the social networking site Facebook.
Teteh abandons LAJ
The owner of Cathouse records and producer of the beats used by LAJ, commonly called Teteh has abandoned the rapper during his ongoing ordeal.
LAJ is standing trial before a Magistrate Court for the alleged illegal possession of firearms and driving an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle without a driving license.
The two are based in the United States and jetted in in December to host their shows. Teteh immediately left after their provincial tours and on the following week, LAJ got busted and detained at CID. Many fans spoken to expressed surprise that Teteh had been referring to LAJ as his son but could not be seen when he was in Police net.
Teteh has an interesting story: He is credited to have produced beats for artistes like Kao Denero which placed him high but fell out him later. He then went and produced a ground breaker for LAJ titled MONEY NA BANK. Since then he is with the rapper in every song and at times taking a verse.
