A fire accident last Wednesday evening has gutted five apartments at the Kingtom Police Barracks, leaving the officers and their families homeless. The blaze reportedly happened at around 7-8 pm. No deaths or injuries were reported but the entire belongings of the occupants were completely burnt.

The Criminal Investigation Department of the Sierra Leone Police in Bo say they are investigating one John Messah, suspected of involvement in a series of fraudulent activities across three districts in the country.

Police in Bo say they are investigating a suspected attempt of a family to compromise an alleged matter of teenage pregnancy involving two minors.
The Family Support Unit of the police at the Bo West Police Station are handling the matter which was reported since last week. Politico understands that at least two people were detained briefly over the issue that involves a 13 year old girl who was allegedly impregnated by an underage boy.
