The High Court of Sierra Leone in Freetown presided over by Justice Simeon Alieu has sentenced Salihu Sheku Nyallay,  of the Judiciary of Sierra Leone on one count of corruption offence.

Over 150 pharmacists, nurses, midwives, physicians and surgeons have been inducted into the Inaugural school of Postgraduate Colleges of Health Specialties to become specialists in their respective disciplines.

The induction took place during the inauguration of the Postgraduate Colleges of Health Specialties at the Freetown International Conference Centre in Aberdeen, Freetown on the 29th May, 2021.

Mines Minister supports Njala University

The Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources Timothy Musa Kabba has presented computer equipment worth $70 thousand towards the creation of a GIS laboratory for the Institute of Geography and Development Studies (IGDS) in the School of Environmental Sciences at Njala University.

 During the handing over event on Friday 28th May 2021, the minister encouraged the university to advance and contribute meaningfully to the efficient management of the country’s mineral resources.
