Sierra Leone warns illegal petroleum dealers

The Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) has in a press release highlighted plans to arrest people involved in illegal petroleum trading in Freetown.

The PRA has frowned at the act that it says has been carried out at unauthorized public places.

There  Agency has indicated it will be carrying out a joint patrol with the Sierra Leone Police to curb what it said are ‘unscrupulous activities’, specifically in Freetown urban.

Makeni riot one year on: defence apply for bail

NPSE results out this week

The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education (MBSSE) has announced this week as possible new date for the release of the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) results.

The Ministry had earlier announced a 45 day interval for the release of the results, counting from the examination date of 28th may 2021, provided heads of schools cooperate with the ministry by providing the continuous assessment grades for the candidates.

Sierra Leone indicts former youth minister

A former Minister of Youth Affairs in the government of President Ernest Bai Koroma will make his first appearance at the High Court in Freetown on Thursday next week on a nine count indictment of Failure to Declare Assets, Income and Liabilities contrary to sections of the Anti-Corruption Act.
