Magistrate Sahr Kekura at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court has placed a fine of 53 million Leones on Alhaji Kargbo and Issa Bangura for stealing and receiving properties of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA).

The two men were also charged together with one Mohamed Samura. The Magistrate, however, discharged and acquitted Samura because of lack of evidence on the allegations against him.

Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has in a conducted tour visited the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, dedicated to the memory of America’s 35th President and all those, who through the art of politics seek a new and better world.

The library and museum are part of the Presidential Library System, which is administered by the Office of Presidential Libraries, a part of the National Archives and Records Administration of the United States.

The Sierra Leone Network on the Right to Food (SiLNORF) has on the 17^th September 2021 held a Multi-stakeholders engagement on the right of food and land rights issues affecting the communities in Small Bo and Dama chiefdoms.

Addressing the stakeholders from various communities in the two chiefdoms, the program manager for community Empowerment project implemented by SiLNoRF, Ibrahim Barrie said they advocate and support community people on their right to food and land.

Two of the deceased according to constituency 008 chairman of SLPP Segbwena, Shengeh Jusu Jaka were delegates with voting rights.

Mohamed Tapeh alias Mollay, a petty trader has in a testimony told the court that a 12-year-old alleged victim of sexual penetration was his lover. Tapeh, 18 was standing trial before Magistrate Sahr Kekura at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court in Freetown for allegedly penetrating the girl on Sunday 21^st April this year at Ascension Town Road in Freetown.
