New Policy to aid the disabled

In a bid to provide unlimited opportunities for persons with disabilities, the Ministry of Health and Sanitation together with World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday the 26th 2021 launched Assistive Technology (AT) Policy and Strategic Plan together with the Priority Assistive Technology Product List of Sierra Leone. The move is said to provide persons with disabilities with assistive devices in order to ease their daily movements.

MP questions removal of road projects

Opposition Member of Parliament, Daniel Brima Koroma, of constituency 046, has questioned the removal of the Malforia-Yiffin Road in Koinadugu District and the Kabala-Krubonla road in Koinadugu and Falaba District, from the government budget.
The MP questioned the Deputy Finance Minister Two, Sheik Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, while debating the government’s 2022 annual budget at the house of parliament, on Friday 26th November, 2021, said that those road projects were ongoing projects left by the last government.
