ACC to monitor $42 Million project

The Coordinator for Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Project of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Patrick Monrovia has said the institution will monitor the implementation of a $42 million dollar grant given by the World Bank to the Government of Sierra Leone.

Monrovia was speaking to Politico in an interview on the 19th of September this year.

CHRDI urges Sierra Leone Govt. for feedback on U.N Summit

The Chief Executive Officer of the Campaign for Human Rights and Development International (CHRDI), Abdul Fatorma has asked that the Sierra Leoneans;  mostly government officials attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) give public feedback after the Summit.

Speaking to Politico in an interview on the 19th of September 2023, Fatorma emphasized that there is every need to update the public, as citizens have to be abreast with happenings outside of Sierra Leone.

CCYA trains 20 youth in skills development

 The youth hub programme was launched on the 16th of September, 2023 in Kenema.

Chiefs trained in land governance

All town and section chiefs in Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema District have been engaged in land governance. The engagement was to help prevent conflict and control the use of land in the country.

The engagement which was held on the 18th of September 2023 was to educate them on the levels of the establishment of towns, villages, and chiefdoms land committee.
