ACC engages Moyamba on free health care
The Southern Regional Office of the Anti Corruption Commission on Thursday engaged health workers, stakeholders and beneficiaries in Moyamba District on the free health care initiative.
Welcoming participants at a workshop in Taiama, Kori Chiefdom, the ACC District Coordinator for Moyamba, Umar Sesay said the meeting was a significant step in measuring the success and challenges of the free health care in his District. He assured that the ACC would ensure corruption became a thing of the past in the District.

High Court convicts Freetown Mayor, Chief Administrator, 5 others
The suspended Mayor of Freetown, Herbert Akieremi George-Williams, the city’s Chief Administrator, Bowenson Frederick Philips and five others have been found guilty for various corruption and procurement violation offences at the High Court in Freetown presided over by the Hon. Justice John Bosco Katutsi, according to a press release from the ACC.

NEC commissioner says ready for November polls
The Commissioner, East, of the National Electoral Commission, Aiah Mattia, has told Politico that his commission is ready to conduct elections as scheduled and that the data collection process which is being consolidated will be wrapped up this week.
