Magistrate Mark Ngegba in Freetown has remanded 65 year-old Lamin Sesay and 35 year-old Kaprr Sesay at the Correctional Services at the start of preliminary investigations into seven count charges, which include conspiracy to murder, wounding and assault.
The accused persons made their appearance on Thursday 10th September, 2020
The police alleged that the accused persons on Thursday 18th June, 2020, at Mayemi Village, Gbendembu in Makeni, in the northern Bombali District, conspired together with other persons unknown, to murder one Alpha Kamara.
It is also alleged that the accused persons conspired to cause grievous bodily harm, assaulted and wounded with intent, one Alpha Kamara.
Both accused persons did not have a lawyer and the matter, prosecuted by ASP Hawa Bah, was adjourned to 17th September, 2020.
