Ibrahim Tholley and Foday Senesie both accused of conspiracy and larceny have been released on bail at a magistrate’s court in Freetown. Magistrate Hannah Bonnie admitted them to a Le5, 000,000 bail backed by one surety who should be a Sierra Leonean resident in Freetown with a valid national identification card.
Police prosecutors say the accused persons on Sunday 14th June at No. 33 Hagan Street in Freetown conspired with other persons unknown to commit shop larceny, carting away Le5, 000,000 in cash, electronic devices including computer memories chips, a desktop computer and other items to the total value of Le2, 500,000 being the property of Ibrahim Sorie Mansaray. The accused persons had no lawyer.
The matter, with Inspector Gbassay Fofanah as prosecutor is adjourned to the 6th July 2020.
