House Majority Leader, Ibrahim Bundu, MP, on Tuesday asked in parliament how Sierra Leone would manage its relationship with its international friends after the Ebola crisis?
He made this statement after the ratification of a grant agreement between the government of Sierra Leone and International Development Association (IDA) for education.
Bundu said that in his country’s time of crisis its friends had canceled flights and asked their nationals home, adding that at the next sitting of the House he would ask foreign minister Dr Samura Kamara to provide a detailed report of assistance that had so far come in from friendly nations.
The MP lamented that this was a time that every Sierra Leonean should be responsible and behave as a true Sierra Leonean with the country at heart.
