Sierra Leone recorded 0.04% and 0.22% increase in COVID-19 total cases and total deaths respectively in 72 hours, from Saturday (10:00 am) to Tuesday (10:00 am).
In comparison, Sierra Leone’s increase in total cases was lower compared to Benin (1.51%), Burkina Faso (1.61%), Cape Verde (2.16%), Ivory Coast (0.27%), Gambia (0.05%), Ghana (0.30%), Guinea (1.17%), Guinea-Bissau (0.42%), Liberia (0.70%), Mali (0.79%), Niger (0.16%), Nigeria (0.55%), Senegal (0.21%), Togo (2.25%), Manor River Union or MRU (0.57%), the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (0.58%), Africa (1.54%), Europe (7.44%), North America (2.53%), South America (1.11%), Asia (1.86%) and World (3.04%).
Togo (3.64%) recorded the highest increase in total deaths compared to Ivory Coast (1.61%), Guinea (1.39%), Nigeria (0.26%), Senegal (0.62%), MRU (0.85%), ECOWAS (0.36%), Africa (1.63%), Europe (2.65%), North America (0.82%), South America (0.86%), Asia (1.74%) and the World (1.45%). Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger and Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total deaths over the period.
Moreover, Sierra Leone’s increase in total recoveries was lower compared to Benin (5.36%), Burkina Faso (2.84%), Cape Verde (2.49%), Ivory Coast (0.30%), Gambia (11.13%), Guinea (0.47%), Liberia (0.31%), Mali (0.84%), Niger (0.35%), Nigeria (1.54%), Senegal (2.22%), Togo (2.50%), MRU (0.35%), ECOWAS (1.25%), Africa (1.81%), Europe (5.09%), North America (2.39%), South America (1.19%), Asia (2.36%) and the World (2.34%). Increase in total recoveries in Ghana (0.19%) was lower compared to Sierra Leone. Guinea-Bissau recorded zero increase in total recoveries.
