Paramount Chief (PC) Sahr Paul Ngaba Saquee has won the Paramount Chief Member of Parliament election for Kono District.
He contested with Paramount Chief Tamba ET Foyoh and PC Alhaji SCN Konobundoh. The total number of mainly chiefs registered to vote was 14v for the chiefdoms in the district.
The winner PC Saquee polled 10 votes while PC Foyoh and PC Konobundoh got 2 votes each.
In his short victory statement, PC Saquee encouraged colleague Paramount Chiefs across the country to emulate the Kono model of elections.
