Parliament discusses departmental plans

The Management of the Parliament of Sierra Leone has on Tuesday 4th May, 2021, held a workshop to align their departmental plans with the objectives and activities of parliament’s strategic plan for 2021 to 2025.

Speaking on behalf of the Clerk of Parliament, at the New Brookfields Hotel on Tuesday 4th May, 2021, the Director in the Department of Parliamentary Assistance and Coordination (DePAC), Finda Fraser, encouraged her colleagues to follow through and ensure departmental plans are in line with the objectives and activities set forth in the strategic plan.  Speaking on the implementation matrix, she called on the management, that includes directors, and heads of units, to focus on key priority areas that are in line with the departmental and strategic plans.

The workshop was being supported by the European Union (EU) and the Country Representative, N'fa Kargbo, responsible for Governance and Civil Society Section, assured of EU's continued support to Parliament and promised effective partnership and collaboration with House in order to achieve its set goals and objectives. He also added that EU is speedily trying to ensure that Parliament attains its goals and objectives.

In an effort to showcase their strategic plans, the different directors and heads of units did a presentation.
