Ambassador Brima

A book of condolence was yesterday opened at the Liberian embassy at Spur Road in Freetown in honour of the late ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Thomas Ngombu Brima who died in Tunis hospital on 12 May.

This, a day after a memorial service by the diplomatic and  consular corps in collaboration with the Sierra Leone foreign ministry at the St. George’s Parish Church, Murray Town, Freetown.

He will be laid to rest on 14 June in his home town of Vahun in Lofa County after a funeral service in Monrovia on 12 June.

Ambassador Brima had served in Freetown for nine years making him his country's longest serving in Sierra Leone.
