A 14 year old girl suspected to have been subjected to sexual abuse has told Justice Samuel Omodele Taylor that one Mohamed Sesay 28 did an anal penetration in her using a stick.
The mentally challenged girl was testifying at the Sexual Offences Model Court in Freetown on Monday 30th August 2021 being led by State Prosecutor, Idrissa Abass Kamara.
Sesay identified also as an auto mechanic was in court on allegations of sexual penetration of a child on the 28th August 2019 somewhere around Wellington, Freetown. He denied the allegations against him.
The child, who was 13 at the time of incident, said that the accused also used his fingers and ‘private’ to penetrate her. She said that the accused also hit her on the head with the same stick that he used to penetrate her. She added that after the incident she was taken to the Police where she made statement and later to the hospital for examination.
Sesay when cross-examining the alleged victim said that the allegations against him were untrue. However, the child insisted that they were true. She repeated to the judge the accused did use a stick on her and then used it again to hit her on the head. The Judge at this point adjourned the matter to 20th September 2021.
