Known as the King of Hip hop, Amara Denis Turay (Kao Denero) on April 7 launched his 'Da Blood Diamond Kid Story’ at the Atlantic Beach. The show has been described as one of the best concerts ever. Tens of thousands trouped their way to the beach, where the gig was being held. To make it more classic, popular DJ Huzo Rex introduced Kao on stage who went on to tantalise his fans with his lyrics. From one music to another, his fans rapped along with him to tracks in the album like Watasai Stone, Respect Da G, Anyway, Moonlit Dancing and One Bag Rice done with Pupa Bajah.
Famous set for Family Kingdom
Also launching his album at the Family Kingdom was Famous. Famous is one of Sierra Leones' respected artistes who has to his credit either to making ground-breaking tracks like Nor to All Ma Go Lek You or throwing the crowd wild when on stage. Many more artistes like RJ who is based in the USA, Aminata, Heyden Adama, Jah The Element are expected to launch their albums this April.
