CALL FORARTICLES
The GENERAL LEGAL COUNCIL (SL) LAW JOURNAL is a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal of articles by legal academics/scholars, legal practitioners, and other professionals committed to the practice of the law in its diverse aspects.
The General Legal Council is inviting articles for the maiden edition of its law journal on any or more of the following areas: criminal law, all aspects of civil law, constitutional and administrative law, public international law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law. Articles may also be submitted by scholars and practitioners in other related fields such as sociology, political science, medicine, forensic science, psychology, public health and economics, provided that such articles are of special relevance to the law. In consideration of the current constitutional review, the primary focus of the maiden publication will be on constitutionalism/constitutional law and related fields.
Interested authors/contributors must submit the following on or before 10th October 2013:
- Title of article/paper.
- Name and contact information of author(s) (email, phone no. and profession)
- A short biographical note (approximately 50 words)
- Abstract of the proposed paper (300 words max)
Upon review of abstracts, selected authors will be contacted by 20th October 2013 to send in their completed articles/works (not more than 3500 words) not later than 15th December 2013.
Articles must be the author’s original work and must not have been published elsewhere.
Authors/contributors must comply with the GLC Citation Guidelines in referencing sources.
