The biggest data leak in history, which has been dubbed as ‘Panama Leaks’, seems to have implicated one of the leading preachers of God’s
word in Africa, Temitope Joshua, better known as Prophet TB Joshua. The Nigerian preacher is the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. His church attracts millions of worshipers in Nigeria and across the world. Most of the worshipers have been drawn to Joshua’s church because of his ability to predict future situations and to perform miracles like healing people from ailment. But it is not clear whether he predicted the Panama leaks and his apparent implication in it.
According to Premium Times, a newspaper in Nigeria, the leaked document from the Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca, shows that the cleric and his wife Evelyn owned a shell corporation at the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
The company, Chillon Consultancy Limited, was incorporated in the island on June 20, 2006.
According to Premium Times, it is unclear what business transaction the cleric and his wife used the corporation for. The Panama leaks have implicated a number of Africans; most notably politicians and business people. If the reports by the Premium Times is proven to be true, T B. Joshua will be the first religious leader to be implicated in the scandalous leaks. Until then, many worshipers will hope that his miracles will continue.
