The chairman Mercury International Mr. Samir K Hassanyeh and his core team made a swift donation of food items and other provisions as support for Ebola quarantined homes, through the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children`s Affairs, on Thursday 19th February 2015.
The package worth millions of leones was handed over to the minister, Alhaji Moijueh Kiakia and his deputy, Mr Mustapha Bai Attila.
Receiving the package in the ministerial environs, the minister, Alhaji Moijueh Kaikai said: “this is not the first time we are receiving support from Mercury. The Chairman promised a few weeks ago to help us with a package for the recently quarantined homes and has fulfilled his promise.”
The Minister appealed for continuing support especially for Ebola orphans and widows, and assured Mercury that the package would be used for its intended purpose.
