Bo Rangers appoints two foreign coaches

Ahead of the Sierra Leone Premier league slated to resume on 11 September 2021, the leading team of the Sierra Leone Premier League, Bo Rangers has on Monday 6th September 2021 unveiled two foreign coaches to fans at the Club House in Bo.  

Jose Solomon Cortes, a Swedish national was appointed head coach of the team while Mamadou Camara, a Guinean national was appointed goalkeeper coach.

The new appointments came shortly after the team’s Coach Dominic Konneh resigned his position on the grounds that he wanted to concentrate on his new assignment as Assistant Coach 2 of the country’s male national football team Leone Stars. 

Bo Rangers also appointed former coach of Kamboi Eagles of Kenema, Abedi to be part of the Technical team and as Assistant Coach 1 of Bo Rangers.

In his statement at the unveiling ceremony, the Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers Football club, Babadi Kamara said the club wants the continued loyalty and of fans and supporters.

He also stated that they want the club to win the Sierra Leone Premier League for the first time and should therefore be prepared and ready for the big challenge ahead. 

 He said the addition of two foreign coaches to the back room staff was timely to ensure the team wins the league.  

Kamara applauded the outgone coach of the team, noting that he brought a lot of good things to the team while serving there.

He called on the fans to comport themselves before, during and after matches.  Bo Rangers will be meeting Eastern Tigers on 11 September 2021 at the Bo Mini Stadium. 

In his statement, the new man Jargo Solomon Cortes thanked the management and staff of Bo Rangers for appointing him as head coach of the club.  

He said he was very proud to come and serve the club and promised to do his best to put Bo Rangers on the football map.
