Football philanthropist Babadi Kamara w has sympathised with bereaved family of Bullom Stars' 17 year-old player, Foday Kargbo who lost his life in a gruesome road accident.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday 2nd February, 2024 whilst the footballers were returning home from Kenema after honouring their F.A Cup match against Kamboi Eagles on Thursday.
Babadi who is Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers donated 40 million old Leones as support towards the funeral for and to take care of those injured during the accident.
According to a statement from the Media Team of Babadi, part of the money will also go to the players who got injured in the unfortunate incident. He praying for a speedy recovery of the injured and that the soul of the departed teenager rest in peace.
Also a press release issued by SLFA on the 2nd February, 2024 said they were "deeply saddened by the news of the fatal accident’’ .
President of SLFA, Thomas Daddy Brima, his executive staff and the football fraternity extended their deepest condolences to the management, fans and family of Kargbo.
