Mr Kamara was slammed with four counts charges of corruption, according to a statement issued by the Commission on Tuesday.

Kamara is Supervisor of Schools and a former Caretaker Principal of Schlenker Secondary School in Port Loko.

The commission went further to note that the accused, within the same period, misappropriated 536 pieces of boards, valued at the sum of Le 18,750,000; and fifty benches and chairs valued at the sum of Le 816,700, all being property of the School.

‘‘Similarly, between 1st June and 30th June, 2019, Kamara, in his capacity as Supervisor of Schools and Caretaker Principal of Schlenker Secondary School, Port Loko District, misappropriated the sum of Le 6,000,000, being funds intended for the payment of departmental support to heads of departments of the school,’’ the release added.

The accused is expected to appear in the High Court holden at Makeni on a date that will be determined by the Master and Registrar when court sessions resume.
