Mogbwemo, Kallon condemns attack on Female referee

In light of an incident of an attack on a female referee, Marie Koroma, and other match officials  during the match between FC Kallon Female and Mogbwemo Queens FC on Friday 9th February 2024 at the MK 3/10 playing field in Angola Town, both clubs have condemned what they described as the violent attack of match officials.

State-of-the-art facilities as E.E. Lions pitch to serve east and beyond

Politico sports can confirm that when the project to upgrade the football pitch in the east of the city at a place called Trade Center where East End Lions play their home matches is complete fans will experience state-of-the-art facilities open to all. The people in the east end of Freetown are celebrating.

Sierra Leone trains 50 Physical Education teachers

Ahead of Launching the FIFA Football for Schools (F4S) Programme, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has commenced a 3-day training workshop for over 50 Physical Education (P.E) Teachers.

The training which was conducted by SLFA in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) started at the Wusum Hotel in Makeni on the 5th February, 2024.

Babadi sympathizes with Bullom Stars

Football philanthropist Babadi Kamara w has sympathised with bereaved family of Bullom Stars' 17 year-old player, Foday Kargbo who lost his life in a gruesome road accident.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday 2nd February, 2024 whilst the footballers were returning home from Kenema after honouring their F.A Cup match against Kamboi Eagles  on Thursday.

Sierra Leone FA Cup to resume

The FA Cup competition is set to recommence on the 24th January, 2024 after it was halted last season.

SLFA Competitions Officer, Abdul Karim Kabba in one of his media interviews said the start will see two relegated teams Kamboi Eagles and FC Johansen battle it out at the Kenema field.

Kabba noted that the round of 32 starts 31st January, 2024 where Waterloo FC will engage Bo Rangers FC at the Bassa Town field.

Northwest FA appoints Rachel Pessima Female Football Ambassador

The Executive Committee of the Northwest Region Football Association, on Friday, 12th January appointed  Rachel  S.  Pessima as  Ambassador for Female Football in the Northwest Region.

The Chairman  Northwest Region Football Association Abdul O. Turay said her appointment was a testament to her immense dedication and passion for sports, particularly women's football.
